Founder Story
From a mother’s care to a better table.
Terrassa comes from two words close to our heart: terra, meaning earth, and rasa, meaning flavor.
Founded by Karen Angelina, Terrassa began from a simple concern as a mother: wanting to give her family something better to enjoy. A snack that still feels delicious and comforting, but is made with natural ingredients and more thoughtful choices.
Karen has always loved going to traditional markets. Over time, she noticed how much beautiful local fruit often goes to waste simply because it does not look perfect, ripens too quickly, or does not reach the right market. That stayed with her.
Through Terrassa, we want to celebrate the richness of Indonesian ingredients while giving more value to what our farmers grow. Our first product, Banana Crackling, is made from real Indonesian bananas, crafted to be light, crisp, and enjoyable for the whole family.
At its heart, Terrassa is about giving the best we can to our families, using ingredients that come from nature, while supporting the people and land behind them.
